YWAM Lebanon would like to invite you and your congregation to a unique opportunity at YWAM Lebanon. Early on in the planning of our upcoming fall Discipleship Training School (DTS), the staff felt led to open up our lecture phase to the local community of believers.  As you may know, DTS is the foundational teaching of Youth With A Mission that have launched missionaries into nearly every nation of the world for the past fifty years. God has provided an impressive list of speakers for this fall school.  The lectures cover a variety of topics and will be taught Monday thru Thursday from 9:00am until Lunch. As the years pass by, the grace of God becomes more amazing. At the end of each year I realize I have not kept the Commandments completely, nor the rules the church has added so I can better keep the Commandments.

What a joy to know the grace of God has saved me and now has kept me these many years. What a thrill to know God loved us while we were still sinners, sent His only Son to die on the cross and be our substitute Lamb, to wash away our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness and to keep on cleansing us.

David understood the grace of God better than most, I believe and therefore, God spoke of David as a man after His own heart. David realized God actually “liked” him. “Howbeit the Lor God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever: for He has chosen Judah to be the ruler: and the house of Judah, the house of my father: and among the sons of my father He liked me to make me king over Israel.” I Chronicles 28:4 KJV

Sometimes it may be difficult to believe; God our Father really likes me. Dare to believe God likes you and has chosen to display His love to you.

We have the greatest message to take to the world, God’s marvelous grace given to us. This is the reason we continue to train people and send them to the nations with this wonderful message. May your journey throughout the remainder of the year be fruitful and prosperous as you live in the grace of God.

As we are progressing through the scheduled TESOL schools this year, we can see the guiding of God’s faithfulness. We believe every student who comes has been hand picked by God for His purpose. In every school we see God’s faithfulness in bringing students with whom we can network in other areas of the world to see the Gospel of salvation proclaimed. As of this writing, graduates have gone from our base in Lebanon, PA to 96 different nations. The 97th nation is waiting in the wings and will go as soon as a visa is granted. We are asking God for 100 nations by the end of the year. Gaze with us at God’s love, and see where His faithfulness guides you.

Pray for wisdom as we continue to grow in numbers of students and staff. This requires more space in the kitchen and dining room, classrooms and bedrooms.

Pray for a uniting and blending of present and incoming staff so the glory of the Lord will be seen among the nations.

Jeff and his family have been serving with YWAM Kyiv, Ukraine. While visiting the States this past summer it was discovered that their fifteen-year- old son had contracted latent TB while serving in orphanages. Through this, other circumstances and the prayers of many it was clear that the family would be returning to the United States to begin a new season. God soon revealed that the family would be coming to serve with YWAM Lebanon. Jeff, who completed his CDTS with us in 2005, will assist the directors in administration while continuing to raise awareness and support for Mercy Trucks Ukraine, the ministry he started with YWAM Kyiv, Ukraine. He will also be working with US churches and ministries to develop relationships with ongoing works in Ukraine.
