Learning a new language can be a very challenging and stressful process. The goal of this ESL class is to remove some of that anxiety by providing a relaxed environment for learning and practicing English communication skills. This is obtained through community living with people of various nationalities intermingled with native English speakers. Our ESL program includes classroom instruction, creative activities, projects, outings, and participation in community events. Special emphasis is given to speaking and listening skills. In addition, the strong Christian environment of everyday life here at the YWAM base is life-changing to many students.
